Environment/Character Design

This is a combination of an environment design project and a character and weapon design/rigging assignment.
I created this environment in 3DS Max and Unity, using general modelling and texturing, as well as terrain tools and tree brushes to create every aspect of this environment.
I also set up the functionality of the sigil collection, which unlocks a gate after collecting 5, and plays an opening animation that I created.
The skull effigies were made by using photogrammetry. I also edited the geometry of the scanned mesh to finalize it
The character itself is my design, model and texture, made and rigged in 3DS Max.
I modelled this character by editing 3DS Max primitives and planes, and textured it in Adobe Substance Painter. I modelled and textured the weapon this way as well, and highpoly/lowpoly baked the model.
This project uses Max's CAT rig, which I set up for the model. I also weight painted the model to perfect how the rig moves the character's mesh.
